Christmas 2009 at the Greensboro Country Club

As is tradition, we have transformed the Greensboro Country Club into its own winter wonderland, despite a definite lack of snow on the ground outside! But here’s my discovery: while having insulation blown into my attic at home last year, a hose apparently burst and the result was insulation all across my yard! But I soon noticed that despite the huge mess, the white insulation looked just like snow! So I called in the insulation company to help bring the Club to its present wonderland status, blasting the 12′ trees to look like they are covered in fresh snow. We’ve added hundreds of birds and branches to the lit trees using an all-white, neutral and brown color scheme. Overhead, hundreds of snowflakes adorn birch branches and all around, twinkling lights and whimsical penguins set the mood for many entertaining holiday memories!

Birds and white lights add a festive touch to the traditional flocked trees
